Using images is a great way to draw attention and engage students when they browse the campus app. As a Campus Cloud administrator, you can choose an image to be used as the banner for the app (1). You can also add images to events (2) and campus wall posts (3).
1) Make an app banner
The app banner serves as the visual introduction to your school. It is the first thing students see when they launch the app.
- A high-resolution image is best -- you can always shrink it down.
- Choose an image under 5MB in size, in either JPEG or PNG format.
Once you upload your image, you can use built-in resize and crop tools to make a good-looking app banner.
2) Make a great event image:
- Use a width to height ratio of 2:1. Campus Cloud will scale your image to the correct size.
- Keep the important information in the center of the image.
- Choose an image under 5MB in size, in either JPEG or PNG format.
- Choose an image that will good even when reduced to a small size, like on a student's mobile phone, without too many lines, details and contrasting colours.

3) Use images on the campus wall:
Images are an important part of attracting student attention and drawing them info campus wall conversations. Here are some guidelines:
- Choose an image under 5MB in size, in either JPEG or PNG format.
- App users will be able to expand the image and view it full size.
- Photos, graphics and logos are all suitable for use on the campus wall.
You can choose up to four images for your campus wall post.
